Dr Callan graduated from Queensland University in 1979 with MBBS and went on to train at Royal Brisbane Hospital, Royal Women's Hospital and Royal Children's Hospital.
Michael spent 8 years working as rural Medical Superintendent in central Queensland and assisting Flying Surgeon. He returned to Brisbane and acquired FRACGP and DRACOG.
Michael worked in general practice with special interests in minor surgery and skin cancer up until 6 years ago. He has now worked full time for Molescan for the last 6 years.
Michael's interests are his family, classical music, reading, swimming, walking, skiing and his dog.
