MEMBERSHIP NOW AVAILABLE
College Membership is available as follows -
1. Associate Member : Any doctor practising in Australia and New Zealand who expresses an interest in skin cancer medicine is eligible to become an associate member of the College. There will be no voting rights attached to this membership level.
2. Member (Ordinary): Potential members will be required to provide evidence of having passed one of the following :
- ACSCM Certificate, Diploma or Fellowship Exam
- Skin Cancer Society of Australia Exam
- University of Queensland Masters (Skin Cancer)
- Cardiff University Diploma of Dermatology
- CBL/Skin Alert Diploma in Skin Cancer Management
- Molescan Certification in Skin Cancer
- RACGP/ACD Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Management
- FACD
- FRACS
Other relevant qualifications may be considered on application.
3. Student Membership: This category is open to all medical students currently studying at tertiary institutions. Benefits are inclusion on distribution list for email cases and subsidised registration fees at College workshops and conferences. No voting rights apply to this membership category.
4. Nurse Membership: Open to all nurses. Benefits include email cases, subsidised registration fees for workshops and subsidised subscription to Journal of Dermatologic Surgery. No voting rights apply to this membership category.
5. Honorary Membership: This will be offered at the discretion of the Board to any Medical Practitioner considered suitable by the Board. Such a privilege will be considered for significant guest lecturers or significant contributors to the College. Honorary members will not be required to pay an annual fee and no voting rights apply to this membership category.
Membership will be on a 12 month basis from date of processing. As the College is currently in negotiations with a possible amalgamation with SCCANZ (Australia & New Zealand colleges), membership may be transferred into a new entity. Members will be kept up to date on developments and members will not be disadvantaged by any merger/amalgamation.
Please note that the Journal is provided in line with the publishers schedule - on a calendar basis. Back issues of the journal will be requested where applicable.
